I need to raise my credit score by six points quickly. How would I go about doing this?
Do you have any credit cards with balances?
Pay them down to below 30% of their available limit (at least)
Don't close them, just pay them down. In full if you can.
This will give your score a nice boost within 45 to 60 days.

Long run is the way this works. The only thing you can do to raise it quickly is to have the reporting agency remove any incorrect items.
Looking ahead, just be sure to use credit sparingly and pay all your commitments in a timely fashion. It's pretty simple.

Negative reports will only be taken off your report once enough time has passes. In the meantime you have to demonstrate that you can use credit responsibly, so not using your cards isn't going to help you.

How can I raise credit score with a credit card?
I just got my 1st credit card, its only for 300$ but I really want to use it for my advantage to raise my credit score. How do I do that? I am not couting on those 300$ so how much should I use to help with credit?

I really want to improve my credit score from being fair to good.
i agree with them, I have two roommates, both are terrible when it comes to managing money. i sit them down every month and go over their finances, how much they spend, save, piss away, etc.
Its amazing to me that they "lose" 3/4's of their paychecks (they both make about $20 an hour) each month.
Identify your wants, identify your needs.
